Dr. Laretha Lockhart

Dr. Laretha Lockhart was born and resides in Columbus, GA where she is a pillar of the community. Dr. Lockhart attended Kendrick High School and graduated with honors. She furthered her education by graduating from Wesleyan College in 2001, where she majored in Chemistry, and minored in Math and Biology. She then went on to complete four years at Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in June 2005. She completed a year residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. After her residency was completed she knew she wanted to return home to Columbus, GA. Dr. Lockhart then worked three years as an associate in two local dental offices. With the knowledge and experience she gained, Dr. Lockhart made the decision to open her own practice, Sweetgums Dental, L.L.C.
